The Section conducts research directly related to the Industry 4.0 concept. New methods for 3D digitalization and integration of virtual factories are being developed; approaches for location and determination of optimal parameters, representing the transition from the virtual prototyping to the physical realization and technological sequence for the specific determination of capacity and communication parameters of production equipment. Potential partners and clients of the laboratory can be research teams in the country and abroad with similar scientific interests, as well as industrial partners, manufacturers of various components for mechatronics.
The Section conducts research in the field of digital technologies, in particular – virtual factories, as well as some specific activities related to technologies from Industry 4.0.
The Section has the following equipment:
Robotized system for research and demonstration of process optimization
Аllows combination of subtractive and additive technologies.
Process chamber for building coatings
Upgrading of the ion-nitriding line, which allows for building DLC coatings.
Scanning system for factory constructions and premises
Used for scanning of production premises for the purpose of planning, simulation and optimal location of the equipment.
